2025 Biz 영어공부, BBC #1 복습

Today I learned Biz News and the title was "Buy something or leave, Starbucks says.

 

It is really funny that I'm writing this review in Starbucks.

 


Vocab / Phrase

 

- come into force from~ : 발효되다 / ~부터 효력을 발생하다 / 시행하다

 

- linger : stay in a place longer than necessary because of a reluctance to leave

  *reluctance : re-luctance 

 

- outlets : store

 

"The changes, which are set to come into force from 27 January, are a U-turn from a policy introduced six years ago that allowed people to linger in Starbucks outlets and use their toilets without making a purchase.

                  declining in strength.
